Polygraphia Office Center hosted the official validation of Nelson Mandela limited-edition post stamp, released on the occasion of 100-year anniversary of his birth. The event was held on the 12th December and was supported by Her Excellency – Ms. Vanessa Calvert Ambassador to South Africa. The post stamp was officially presented by Mr. Deyan Daneshki, CEO of Bulgarian Posts. Ambassador Calvert expressed her deep gratitude to the Bulgarian nation for the paid homage to Nelson Mandela’s person, public life and service. During the past few decades he had received several of the highest award of the Republic of Bulgaria – order of Georgi Dimitrov in 1986, order of Stara Planina in 2008 and a street in Lozenets residential district was named after him in 2017.
